Job summary

Qualifications

This cardiology practice is part of a large, mission-driven academic health care system serving more than 1.4 million people across 29 eastern North Carolina counties. The not-for-profit system includes nine hospitals, a children's hospital, and a physician group encompassing over 1,200 academic and community providers. The cardiology team operates within an established practice and provides both inpatient and outpatient clinical care across two hospital settings, including a critical access hospital and a regional hospital.

Opportunity

Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant - Cardiology

Job Details

• Join an established cardiology team consisting of 2 physicians and 1 advanced practice provider
• Monday through Friday schedule, 7:30am to 4:30pm with no call required
• Provide both inpatient and outpatient clinical care
• Responsibilities include inpatient consults, stress tests, EKG interpretation, transfer assistance, and seeing new and follow-up patients in outpatient clinic
• Work in conjunction with an onsite cardiologist and telecardiologist
• Hospital privileges at a 25-bed critical access hospital and a 114-bed regional hospital
• Minimum of two years of experience required, preferably in cardiology
• Must be certified as an ANP, FNP, ACNP, or AGNP
• ACLS certification by the American Heart Association is required
• Relocation assistance available
