Job summary

OptumCare in Montebello, CA is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to deliver direct patient care in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. You will conduct exams, assessments, diagnoses and treatments, serving patients from newborns to seniors.

The role is Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm with opportunities for CME and a comprehensive benefits package. Prior EMR proficiency is required to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted CA license to practice medicine in California.
• CA DEA certificate required prior to start date.
• Certificate of completion from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
• EMR proficiency required.
• New grads welcome to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide and manage direct patient care, including examinations, evaluations and treatments.
• See patients of all ages from newborns to geriatric.
• Manage a patient load of 18–20 on average.
• Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm.
