Qualifications

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Nurse Practitioner licensed in the state of Maryland.
  • National board certification required.
  • DEA and CDS registration preferred or eligible.
  • Prior inpatient, palliative care, oncology, ICU, or acute care experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration skills.

This position offers the opportunity to work alongside an interdisciplinary team providing specialized care to patients with serious and complex illnesses. The Nurse Practitioner will support symptom management, goals‑of‑care discussions, advance care planning, and patient/family support while collaborating closely with physicians, nursing staff, social work, chaplaincy, and consulting services.

Our palliative care team plays a vital role in delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care across a diverse inpatient population within one of the region’s leading academic health systems.

Key Responsibilities
