Job summary

Medical Edge, a rapidly growing pain management practice in Arizona, seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join our six outpatient clinics. You will deliver comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized plans, and coordinate care with physicians and therapists to relieve pain and improve function.

Qualifications

• Current Arizona Nurse Practitioner license or ability to obtain
• Board Certification as an FNP, AGNP, or other NP certification
• Active DEA registration or ability to obtain
• Two+ years of Nurse Practitioner experience preferred
• Experience in pain management, orthopedics, PM&R, family/internal medicine or outpatient specialty valued

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations including histories, exams, and pain assessments
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pain conditions
• Develop individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices
• Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as needed
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies and imaging
• Prescribe and manage medications per Arizona regulations
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, options, and expectations
• Coordinate care with physicians, behavioral health providers, and physical therapists
• Maintain accurate documentation within the EMR
• Deliver high-quality patient care while complying with standards
