Harbor Health in El Paso, TX seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a multi-specialty clinic as a clinical leader in primary care. You will deliver safe, effective care and collaborate with the practice team to meet members' needs within our payvider model.

Responsibilities include history taking, exams, order tests, prescribing, care coordination, and health maintenance. DEA/CPR and Texas licensure required; experience in family medicine preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program and certified by the NCCPA or Nurse Practitioner Program and certified by the ANCC or AANP
• Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to practice in the State of Texas
• Licensed and certified to practice in Family Medicine
• Current DEA and CPR certification
• Valid Texas Driver's License
• Ability to meet credentialing and privileging requirements
• Comfortable working as a solo provider in a clinic team setting
• Computer literacy with ability to navigate electronic health record systems
• Excellent customer service skills and professional communication
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse backgrounds
• Strong teamwork while maintaining ability to work independently
• Sound judgment and confidentiality

Responsabilités

• Interview members to obtain medical history, perform physical examinations, order tests, prescribe medications, and recommend treatments
• Provide continuity in managed care for members with long-term conditions
• Make referrals for secondary and tertiary care in collaboration with the care team
• Perform medical procedures according to issued privileges
• Provide health maintenance visits and immunization guidance
• Conduct employment and other required physical examinations
• Document and code all member contacts in the EMR
• Work as an active member of the medical team
• Participate in care team meetings
• Contribute to clinical committees, education, and quality review
