Medi-Weightloss of Brookfield, CT is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our clinical team in a part-time/ PRN capacity. The role involves comprehensive patient assessment, preventive counseling, EMR documentation, and collaboration with supervising physicians.

Fridays are fixed 8:00 AM–1:00 PM with additional PRN shifts Tue-Sat. Ideal candidates hold DEA certification and an active NP or PA license, with a patient-centered approach and strong communication

Qualifications

• DEA Certification (Required).
• Certified Nurse Practitioner (Required) OR Physician Assistant License (Required).

Responsibilities

• Obtain and review patient medical and psychosocial history.
• Conduct physical examinations per guidelines.
• Order and review labs, ECGs, and diagnostics.
• Deliver preventive and program counseling, plus education on products and supplements.
• Adhere to prescription guidelines with supervising physician.
• Maintain EMR documentation for patient care and meds.
• Review patient progress and adjust care as needed.
• Facilitate referrals to other clinicians and facilities.
• Conduct follow-up calls to discuss progress.
