Jobot is hiring a Nurse Practitioner for outpatient neurosurgery in Northern New Jersey. The role offers a competitive, experience‑based hourly wage with a 4- to 5‑day work week and 8:30 AM–5:00 PM hours.

This on-site position emphasizes collaboration with neurosurgeons and APPs to deliver high‑quality patient care. The ideal candidate holds an NP master’s degree, NJ APN license, ANCC/AANP certification, and BLS, with 2+ years in neurosurgery, spine, or related fields.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current ANCC or AANP board certification.
• Active New Jersey Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) license required.
• New Jersey CDS and DEA registrations.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years NP experience preferred.
• Experience in neurosurgery, neurology, orthopedics, spine care, or related surgical specialty preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage new, follow-up, and post-operative patients in outpatient setting.
• Conduct comprehensive histories, physical exams, and clinical assessments.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Order, interpret, and review diagnostic testing.
• Provide post-operative care including incision evaluations and suture removal.
• Prescribe medications and coordinate ongoing treatment.
• Collaborate with neurosurgeons and APPs to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options and recovery.
