Job summary

Direct Hire Solicitation. Qualified candidates must hold an advanced nursing license (Family Medicine or related) and have at least one year of professional nursing experience including exams, diagnosis, and prescribing medications.

Qualifications

• Graduate or higher level degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• Foreign degrees must be CGFNS-certified.
• Current, active, full, unrestricted nursing license in the United States or its territories.
• Advanced Practice Nurse licensure in Family Medicine or related specialty is required.
• One year of professional nursing experience including exams, diagnosing, and prescribing.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient nursing care to patients from newborn to geriatrics in Groton, CT.
• Perform patient physical examinations and diagnose based on results.
• Prescribe medications as appropriate and coordinate care with the health team.
• Comply with federal employment requirements and DHA guidelines.
