Job summary

MaineHealth Cardiology is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing cardiology team in Augusta and Waterville, Maine. This full‑time, 40‑hour per week position features a 4‑day work week with no nights or weekends and outpatient responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.

• Current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient cardiology care as a NP/PA in Augusta and Waterville, ME.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs and support staff to deliver high-quality care.
• Utilize the Epic EMR for documentation and care coordination.
• Maintain patient safety, manage common cardiology conditions, and support continuous improvement.

This is a split position working2 days a week in each location. Come be a part of our dynamic team of providers, physicians and Advanced Practice Providers (APP) working together with outstanding support staff. Come experience the warmth of a small town combined with a medical community working closely with colleagues throughout the MaineHealth system to ensure the healthcare needs of patients are delivered with the highest level of quality,dedicated to Cardiology.

MaineHealth Cardiology - We are a growing, integrated practice of over 45 cardiologists that offers its patients outstanding cardiology services with the highest level of care. Our cardiologists are Board Certified and trained in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases of the heart and circulatory system. We are closely tied to the nationally recognized cardiac services at Maine Medical Center and other regional hospitals & practices to build a coordinated network of care.

Minimum Qualifications
