NP Now is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for outpatient Internal Medicine in Wilmington, NC. The role offers a four-day workweek with 16–18 patients per day, in a physician-owned practice known for collaboration and high patient care standards.

Ideal candidates are board-certified NPs or PAs with 3–5 years in internal medicine or primary care. A supportive team, strong patient relationships, and commitment to preventive care are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Board-certified NP or PA with 3–5 years of Internal Medicine or Primary Care experience.
• Experience in outpatient setting.
• Patient-focused, efficient and collaborative.
• Strong communication and teamwork with physicians and staff.

Responsibilities

• See 16–18 patients per day in outpatient internal medicine.
• Work four days a week in a collaborative team with 2 physicians and 5 APPs.
• Provide preventive care and chronic disease management.
• Build positive relationships with patients and colleagues.

An established, independent Internal Medicine practice is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its highly respected team. This physician-owned practice has been serving the community for decades and is known for its collaborative culture, exceptional staff, and outstanding patient care.

Position Highlights

• Full-time, four-day workweek outpatient Internal Medicine
• Outpatient Internal Medicine seeing 16-18 patients/day
• Work alongside 2 physicians and 5 experienced Advanced Practice Providers in a modern facility with 18-exam rooms
• Strong focus on preventive care, chronic disease management, and personalized patient relationships

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary, $120,000 - $140,000, depending on experience
