Job Summary
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant is a skilled member of the health team who provides medical and educational services to patients in collaboration with a licensed physician. In this role, you will cover the podiatry clinic as needed. Call expectation is included at a frequency of 1:3. Experience in podiatry is preferred.
Education: For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an accredited institution recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum Required: Master’s Degree in Nursing/Physician Assistant.
Experience: None required; preferred one to three years’ nursing experience in a specialty.
Certifications/Licenses: Current applicable State Nurse License or Nurse Compact License, Nurse Practitioner Licensure, and DEA License. BLS certification within three months of hire. Additional certifications may be required based on department/location. Preferred: BLS and ACLS certifications at the time of hire.
