Electrophysiology Nurse Practitioner Responsibilities & Duties
* Hybrid position (Inpatient/Outpatient responsibilities)
* Orders electrophysiology studies and diagnostic tests to evaluate heart rhythm disorders
* Interpret test results and develop treatment plans in collaboration with cardiologists
* Provide patient education regarding heart conditions, treatment options, and lifestyle modifications
* Monitor and adjust medications for heart rhythm management
* Perform follow-up assessments to ensure the efficacy of treatments and interventions
* Manage emergency situations related to cardiac conditions
* Participate in research activities and clinical trials within the field of electrophysiology
* Document patient care accurately and maintain comprehensive medical records
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive care plans
* Stay updated with the latest advancements in electrophysiology through continuing education
* Provide pre- and post-procedure care for patients undergoing electrophysiology studies and interventions
