Job summary

Florida Heart & Vascular seeks a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its electrophysiology team in Broward County, FL. The role supports both Fort Lauderdale and Plantation clinics with a mix of outpatient and inpatient care, working Monday–Friday and participating in occasional weekend call.

The ideal candidate will be board-certified, hold an active Florida license or be able to obtain one, and bring cardiology/EP experience to develop specialized EP expertise

Qualifications

• Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active Florida license or ability to obtain before starting
• Cardiology experience preferred
• Electrophysiology experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage patients with cardiac arrhythmias and other cardiovascular conditions
• Conduct new patient evaluations and follow-up visits
• Perform hospital rounds and assist with cardiovascular consultations
• Review EKGs, cardiac imaging, laboratory studies, and other diagnostic testing
• Manage cardiovascular medications and treatment plans in collaboration with physicians
• Provide patient education and ongoing care coordination
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

As we continue to expand our electrophysiology services throughout Broward County, we are seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our established, physician-led team. This role will support our Fort Lauderdale and Plantation clinics and affiliated hospitals, providing a mix of outpatient and inpatient electrophysiology care. It is an excellent opportunity for an APP with a cardiology background to develop specialized EP expertise and grow their career with an expanding cardiovascular practice.
