Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking experienced Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join our per diem team in the greater Pittsburgh area, with locations across Pennsylvania and West Virginia. We partner with UPMC Health System to deliver effortless, personal, and connected urgent care experiences.

Our centers feature EPIC EMR, on-site X-ray, POC testing, and a collaborative clinical team including Rad Techs and Medical Assistants.

Qualifications

• 1 year full-time Emergency Medicine or 2 years Urgent Care experience.
• Alternatively 2 years of Family Medicine experience.
• Proficient with minor procedures and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays.
• Experience treating patients newborn and up in an acute care setting.
• PA: Master’s degree and NCCPA Certification; NP: Master’s degree and ANCC/AANP Certification.

Responsibilities

• Deliver urgent care with emphasis on clinical decision-making.
• Collaborate with Rad Tech and Medical Assistants as a clinical team leader.
• Maintain EPIC EMR documentation and on-site X-ray use.
• Weekend shifts and limited on-call are required.

Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant Per Diem

We are seeking experienced Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care in the greater Pittsburgh area, and locations across Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 1 year of full-time experience in Emergency Medicine or 2 years of Urgent Care setting experience required.
• Will consider 2 years of Family Medicine experience.
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays required.
• Experience treating patients ages newborn and up in an acute care setting required.
• Physician Assistants: Master’s degree and NCCPA Certification is required.
• Nurse Practitioners: Master’s degree and ANCC or AANP Certification is required.
