Summit Medical Group at Newport in Newport, TN is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our on-site primary care team. This role focuses on performing physical exams, managing patient care, ordering tests, and coordinating treatment plans with physicians to ensure continuity of care.

The ideal candidate has completion of an accredited NP or PA program and current Tennessee licensure as an APRN or PA.

Formación

• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program or Physician Assistant program.
• Current Tennessee licensure as APRN or PA.

Responsabilidades

• Performs complete physical exams and records findings.
• Maintains and reviews patient records and charts.
• Orders laboratory and diagnostic procedures as appropriate.
• Determines preliminary diagnoses and therapeutic plans.
• Educates patients/families on medications, treatments, and prevention.
• Assists physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs.
• Provides continuity of care between physician visits.
• Triages nursing and family telephone calls and provides consultation.
