Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing required for Nurse Practitioner role.

• Current APRN license or PA license in state of practice; BCLS/ACLS certifications; prescriptive authority eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes approved medical practices process in the delivery of all patient care.
• Provides care based on physical, psycho/social, educational, safety and related criteria for assigned patients.
• Maintains an attitude of inquiry towards medical practices and patient care outcomes; may develop research methodology.
• Provides education experiences to patient families, staff, other health professionals, and the community.
• Adapts communication to patient population; respects privacy and explaining services appropriately.
