Job summary

Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa’s Department of Hematology/Oncology has a full-time position available for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate-Certified in Cedar Rapids, IA. The provider will perform exams, diagnose, order treatments, and educate patients, contributing to high-quality cancer care.

Typically requires an ARNP or PA-C license and a master’s degree, with oncology experience preferred and strong EMR proficiency. No nights or weekends; competitive benefits and PTO offered.

Qualifications

  • Current, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP) license or Physician Associate license.
  • Master's degree (M. A.) or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Clinical expertise in the management of acute and chronic conditions related to cancer and blood disorders, preferred.
  • Previous oncology experience and oncology certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practice and clinical guidelines.
  • Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills.
  • Proficiency (or ability to become proficient) in EMR and related computer systems.
  • Commitment to patient care and teamwork.
  • Excellent communication skills, professionalism, reliability, and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices.

Physicians’ Clinic of Iowa’s Department of Hematology/Oncology has a full-time position available for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Associate-Certified.
