Job summary

Premier Pulmonary Critical Care and Sleep Medicine in McKinney, TX seeks a Family Nurse Practitioner or AGACNP to provide primary care under physician supervision. On-site, 8am–5pm Monday–Thursday, with Friday 8am–2pm; full-time or part-time with weekend rounding as needed.

Ideal candidate has Texas NP license, 1+ year of NP experience, CAQH, DEA, and liability insurance; new graduates welcome with cross-training at Denison office for 3 months.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as Advanced Nurse Practitioner by Texas Board of Nurse Examiners.
• Two to three years of medical/surgical experience.
• New graduates welcome but willing to cross-train at Denison office for 3 months.

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have current licensure as an Advanced Nurse Practitioner by the Texas Board of Nurse Examiners and possess two to three years of medical/surgical experience in a medical/surgical setting.

As an Advanced Nurse Practitioner or Physician assistant, you will work under the supervision of a physician to provide primary health care services to patients. You will be responsible for evaluating the condition of patients based on data from medical records, developing patient care plans, and initiating or changing orders based on changing patient conditions or physician-approved protocols.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical abilities, effective verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong work ethic. Additionally, the ability to work collaboratively as a team player is essential for this role.
