Banner Health is seeking an Occupational Medicine Advanced Practice Provider in Tempe, Arizona. This role offers the chance to join a large team focused on occupational health, performing physical exams and treating workplace injuries.

The ideal candidate will hold an NP or PA-C designation and possess relevant experience. The position provides comprehensive benefits, including health plans and paid time off, with a typical schedule of M-F 7:00a-4:00p and a call ratio of 1:4.

Qualifications

• NP or PA-C designation (AANP/NCCPA) required.
• Current AZ license or eligibility.
• Experience in occupational medicine, urgent care or orthopedics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform baseline and annual physical exams.
• Evaluate, treat, and follow up on industrial injuries.
• Conduct DOT driver examinations.

Skills

Current prescribing privileges including a DEA license

Experience in occupational medicine

Ability to read and interpret EKGs

Education

NP or PA-C designation (AANP/NCCPA)

Current AZ license or eligibility

Certification to perform NRCME (DOT) driver examinations

Banner Occupational Health and Wellness, a dedicated full-service occupational health provider, is looking for a dynamic Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to help us grow our services in the Phoenix Metro Area, the fifth-largest metro area in the US.

Our Occupational Medicine Provider will perform baseline and annual physical exams, evaluate, treat, and follow up on industrial injuries and non-industrial medical conditions, infections and hazardous material exposures.

Required Qualifications:

• NP or PA-C designation (AANP/NCCPA)
• Current prescribing privileges, including a DEA license for controlled substance required
• Current AZ license or eligibility
• ACLS/BLS required
• Experience in occupational medicine, urgent care or orthopedics is preferred, but new grads will be considered
• Mentorship available
• Certification to perform NRCME (DOT) driver examinations required
• Ability to read and interpret EKGs and exercise treadmill stress tests is a plus or obtain training within 6 months of employment
• Schedule: M - F | 7:00a-4:00p | Call 1:4
