Job summary

Holy Cross Health in Germantown, MD is seeking a Nurse Practitioner with Women’s Health NP (WHNP) expertise to deliver care in an OB/GYN setting. You will work with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based, individualized patient care and promote health maintenance and disease prevention.

The role requires MSN, MD licensure in Maryland or Compact, and advanced specialty certifications.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; MSN required and terminal degree preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State.
• Advanced certification & credentialing according to specialty area required.
• Certifications aligned with area of responsibility required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred.
• Experienced WHNP with obstetrical and gynecological experience preferred; new grads with L&D RN exp considered.

Responsibilities

• Provides therapeutic health services focusing on health restoration, maintenance, and disease prevention.

The Nurse Practitioner works in a collaborative environment at Holy Cross Health within the OB- GYN to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care. • Employment Type/Shift: PRN, Clinic Hours are M-F, 8 hr shifts
• Works collaboratively with the physicians and a multidisciplinary health team.
• Serves as an expert practitioner and actively promotes and supports clinical and organizational practices and initiatives within the area of declared specialization.
• Responsibilities include therapeutic health service that focus on health restoration, health maintenance and disease prevention.
