Job summary

Pyramid Healthcare in Concord, NC is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our multidisciplinary team and deliver high-quality medical care to individuals with substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions.

The Medical Provider will assess, diagnose, and treat patients, collaborate with clinical leadership, coordinate care with external providers, and help ensure compliance with federal and state standards.

Qualifications

• Active NP or PA license in North Carolina.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in substance use disorder and/or behavioral health treatment.
• Experience with co-occurring disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct medical care, including assessments, diagnoses, and treatment planning.
• Conduct psychiatric and medical evaluations for clients in detox and residential settings.
• Collaborate with Program Director, Clinical Director, and clinical team to support client outcomes.
• Coordinate care with external providers, including primary care, hospitals, and community partners.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and accreditation standards.
• Respond effectively to crisis situations and support stabilization efforts.

Position Summary

The Medical Provider delivers high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals experiencing Substance Use Disorders (SUD) and co-occurring mental health conditions. This role collaborates closely with clinical leadership and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care across all levels of treatment.
