Job summary

SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Childrens Hospital in St. Louis, MO is seeking a full-time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (0.9 FTE) for our Level IV NICU.

The NNP will rotate to SSM Health St. Marys Hospital Level III NICU for high-risk deliveries, with a schedule of 3x12s per week and rotating days/nights. Weekend and holiday shifts are shared equally; currently 3–4 weekend shifts per four-week cycle.

Qualifications

• NNP certification by NCC is required.
• Current Missouri RN license and APRN license are required.

Responsibilities

• NNP will primarily work in the Level IV NICU at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Childrens Hospital and rotate to the Level III NICU at SSM Health St. Marys Hospital for high-risk deliveries.
• Anticipated schedule is 3x12s per week with rotating days/nights (6 am–6:30 pm or 6 pm–6:30 am).
• Weekend and holiday shifts are shared equitably (3–4 weekend shifts per four-week schedule, moving toward six weeks).

Qualifications:

• Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) certified by the National Certification Corporation (NCC)
• Current RN and APRN license in the State of Missouri

Responsibilities:

• NNP will primarily work at SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Childrens Hospital in the Level IV NICU and rotate to SSM Health St. Marys Hospital Level III NICU for high-risk deliveries
• Anticipated schedule of 3x12s per week with rotating days/nights. Shifts are 6 am-6:30 pm and 6 pm-6:30 am
• Weekend and holiday shift requirements shared equally; currently 3-4 weekend shifts per four-week schedule moving to a six-week schedule in the near future.
