Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice in Wichita, KS is seeking a qualified Nurse Practitioner to provide medical care to hospice patients at home. You will assess pain and symptoms, determine eligibility, and coordinate with an interdisciplinary team.

This role requires an NP license in Kansas, knowledge of Medicare conditions of participation, and comfort with mobile devices and electronic health records. The work offers stability, growth and a collaborative culture.

Responsibilities

Provide medical care to hospice patients. Determine hospice eligibility and pain and symptom management. Participate in the care of the hospice patient as a member of the interdisciplinary team

Qualifications

Education and experience, essential

• Must be a graduate of an approved school, and licensed as a nurse practitioner (NP) in the state in which they currently practice.
• Must have demonstrated knowledge of regulatory requirements, including Medicare conditions of participation.
• Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.

Education And Experience, Preferred

• At least five years nursing experience with a minimum of one year in hospice preferred.
• At least three years of clinical registered NP experience preferred.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid state driver license
• Must maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law
• Must maintain dependable transportation in good working condition
• Must be able to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions
• Must possess CPR certification
