Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner to provide medical care to hospice patients in Idaho. You will determine eligibility and manage pain and symptoms as part of the interdisciplinary team.

The role requires NP licensure in the state, regulatory knowledge, and proficiency with mobile devices. Preferred candidates have years of nursing and hospice experience and clinical RN practice.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school and licensed as a nurse practitioner (NP) in the state.
• Must have demonstrated knowledge of regulatory requirements, including Medicare conditions of participation.
• Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
• At least five years nursing experience with a minimum of one year in hospice preferred.
• At least three years of clinical registered NP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to hospice patients.
• Determine hospice eligibility and pain and symptom management.
• Participate in the care of the hospice patient as a member of the interdisciplinary team

• Must possess a valid state driver license
• Must maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law
• Must maintain dependable transportation in good working condition
• Must be able to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions
• Must possess CPR certification
