Medical Director Services PC is looking to hire an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to service a skilled nursing facility in Queensbury, NY.

Provider Duties

• Serve as the primary care provider for residents, assessing health through visits, physical exams, and medical history reviews.
• Collaborate with the medical team and nursing home staff to deliver high-quality care.
• Build relationships with residents and families, providing education and evidence-based care plans.
• Ensure compliance with legal and professional standards, staying updated on legislation.
• Maintain professional knowledge through workshops, publications, and networking.
• Uphold a safe, respectful, and culturally sensitive working environment.
• Ensure timely and accurate charting, documentation, and care administration.

Requirements:

• Skills in health promotion, clinical procedures, teamwork, bedside manner, infection control, medication administration, pain management, and self-development.
• Must be Board Certified.

Extensive training will be provided. Hospital setting experience is considered an asset.
