Job summary

The Nurse Practitioner position in Statesboro, GA, is a contract, part-time role within Healthcare Facilities. You'll deliver medical care to patients of all ages under physician supervision, perform exams, order tests, and prescribe treatments as allowed by law.

Working with Amergis Healthcare Staffing, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure evidence-based care. Must maintain state licenses, comply with regulations, and meet all professional standards.

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner Certification and license in the state of practice required.
• RN license in the state of practice required.
• Specialty Certification as per client request and or state regulations if applicable.
• One (1) year experience as an NP preferred.
• Maintain collaboration agreements, per state requirements.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Nurse Practitioner provides medical care services andtreatment to patients of all ages within scope of license, in collaboration with a physician as required by law. The Nurse Practitioner collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to collect anddocument patient data, performs physical examinations, diagnostic andtherapeutic tests and procedures, assessments and screenings, prescribesmedications and treatments, orders and schedules laboratory and diagnosticstudies to provide evidence based care and comprehensive services includingdirect patient care. Additionally, theNurse Practitioner may have an area of specialty practice.
