Job summary

Turning Point Care Center, LLC, a part of Universal Health Services, Inc., seeks a Psych Certified Nurse Practitioner in Georgia to conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and formulate diagnosis plans. You will prescribe treatments and manage regimens in collaboration with a physician.

This full-time role requires AMNP licensure in GA, PMHNP/PMHCNS certification, and at least five years of psychiatric/chemical dependency nursing experience. Schedule may include one weekend per month.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing with certification as a PMHNP or PMHCNS.
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Georgia.
• Certification with a National Certification Board.
• Five years of psychiatric/chemical dependency nursing experience.
• Knowledge and mastery of DSM-5 and biopsychosocial assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive mental health assessments and determine diagnosis plans.
• Prescribe treatments and manage mental health regimens in collaboration with the designated physician.
• Collaborate with Medical, Clinical and Nursing staff to ensure coordinated care.

Responsibilities

Turning Point is seeking a full-time Psych Certified Nurse Practitioner. The Nurse Practitioner works closely with the Medical Director, Clinical Staff, and Nursing Staff to provide comprehensive mental health assessments, determine diagnosis plans, prescribe treatments, and manage mental health care regimens in collaboration with the designated physician. This position is 40 hours per wk, one weekend per month, schedule may vary.

Qualifications

Qualified applicants will have:

• Master of Science in Nursing with certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist (PMHCNS) with one of the accredited National Certification Organizations (ANCC, AANP).
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia; Certification with a National Certification Board
• Five (5) years of experience in the area of psychiatric/chemical dependency nursing.
• Knowledge and mastery of DSM-5 and biopsychosocial assessment.

This position is 40 hours per wk, one weekend per month, schedule may vary.
