Job summary

Amergis seeks a licensed Nurse Practitioner to deliver health care within the NP scope in Nevada. You will perform exams, order tests, assess and treat patients, prescribe medications, and educate patients and families on conditions and treatment options.

The role may include a specialty area per client needs and requires NP certification, state license, and collaboration agreements as per state regulations. This contract-to-full-time position is based in Elko, NV.

Qualifications

• Current NP certification and license in the state of practice.
• Certification by a nationally accredited nursing organization (e.g. AANP/ANCC) preferred.
• One year NP experience preferred.
• Maintain collaboration agreements per state requirements.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current health certificate per contract/state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Job description

The Nurse Practitioner provides health care services to patients within scope of license, performs physical examinations and diagnostic tests, assessments and screenings, prescribes medications, and instructs patients and family members on medical conditions and treatment. Additionally, the Nurse Practitioner may have an area of specialty practice.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Nurse Practitioner Certification and license in the state of practice required
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by a nationally accredited nursing organization (e.g. American Academy of Nurse Practitioners - AANP, American Nurses Credentialing Center - ANCC) is preferred
• Specialty Certification as per client request and or state regulations if applicable
• One year experience as an NP preferred
• Maintain collaboration agreements, per state requirements
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
