Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing seeks a Nurse Practitioner to deliver health care services within the licensed scope, performing exams, diagnostics, and treatments. The NP may specialize according to client needs.

The role requires active NP certification and state licensure, with preferred certification by AANP or ANCC, and at least 1 year of NP experience. Travel assignment in healthcare facilities, 24-week duration, with weekly pay rate provided.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner certification and license in state of practice.
• Certification by a nationally accredited nursing organization (e.g. AANP, ANCC) preferred.
• Specialty certification as per client/state regulations if applicable.
• One year experience as an NP preferred.
• Maintain collaboration agreements per state requirements.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest X-ray if applicable.
• Current health certificate per contract or state regulation.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services within scope of license.
• Perform physical examinations and diagnostic tests, assessments and screenings.
• Prescribe medications and instruct patients and family members on medical conditions and treatment.
• May have an area of specialty practice as requested.

Job description

Additionally, the Nurse Practitioner may have an area of specialty practice.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Nurse Practitioner Certification and license in the state of practice required

• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by a nationally accredited nursing organization (e.g. American Academy of Nurse Practitioners – AANP, American Nurses Credentialing Center – ANCC) is preferred

• Specialty Certification as per client request and or state regulations if applicable

• One year experience as an NP preferred
