Washington Regional Medical System in Northwest Arkansas seeks a Neurology Advanced Practice Provider to join our JB Hunt Transport Services Neuroscience Institute. This outpatient clinic role focuses on cerebrovascular neurology and patient education.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, unencumbered NP license and CPR, and national certification. A minimum of 3 years in a clinical nursing role is required; vascular neurology experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical examinations of patients to evaluate health and diagnose illnesses.

• Prescribe and dispense medications; document medical information in EMR.
• Educate patients and families on health problems, treatment plans, and home care.
• Request consultations or referrals with other health care providers as needed.
