Description:We are seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join a dedicated neonatal intensivist team.The position is located in a Level III NICU.The team consists of a close-knit group of NNPs and Neonatologists.Staff includes RNs, RTs, occupational and physical therapists, social workers, and breastfeeding specialists.All team members are trained specifically to work with infants in the NICU.The average daily census is 23-25 infants.NNP coverage model includes 24-hour shifts with a second NNP on day shifts.The average work schedule consists of seven 24-hour shifts per month.NNPs may attend high-risk deliveries as assigned.Procedures include intubation, insertion of UVC, UAC, and PICC lines.A Pediatric Clientist sees newborns.Pediatric subspecialties available in-house include Cardiology, Nephrology, Pediatric Surgery, and Endocrinology.
