Job summary

Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD seeks a qualified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join its NICU team. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating neonatal patients according to medical staff protocols, and providing health education to families.

You will collaborate with physicians, maintain detailed patient records, and uphold safety and aseptic standards in a high-acuity setting.

Qualifications

• NNP certification active with NCC.
• Active RN license in state of practice.
• CNP certification required.
• 2–3 years of Level III NICU experience preferred.

Effectively provides patient instruction related to environment of care and safety standards.Effectively contributes to the development and attainment of physician practice goals.Practices according to written, approved protocols and appropriate licensing and administrative authorities.
