Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Nurse Practitioners to join as independent contractors for services to military service members in South Carolina. Work is primarily on weekends with some weekday shifts as needed, across various locations including remote installations.

Active SC NP licensure, CPR/BLS, and readiness to travel are required, with strong clinical and documentation skills expected. Responsibilities include health assessments, reviewing histories, interviewing personnel, and identifying urgent

Qualifications

Active NP license in the state.
BLS/CPR certification.
Experience in primary, urgent, or occupational health.
Ability to travel to remote military installations.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

Support physical health assessments of military personnel.
Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, inclusive of Behavioral Health.
Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record.
