DOCS Health is seeking independent contractor Nurse Practitioners to support military service members in California. Work typically on weekends with occasional weekdays under the RHRP, across multiple installations.

Responsibilities include health assessments, medical history reviews, and documenting outcomes in a proprietary system. Requires NP licensure, CPR/BLS, and willingness to travel; diagnosing or prescribing medications is not required.

Qualifikationen

• Active NP license in the state.
• CPR/BLS Certification required.
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred.
• Experience with mobile medical services preferred.
• Knowledge of military systems, protocols, and terminology preferred.
• Adaptable to fast-paced environments with high patient volume.
• Willingness to travel and work weekend hours preferred.
• Not required: diagnose, treat, or prescribe medications.

Aufgaben

• Support physical health assessments of military personnel.
• Review health history, records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview service members to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify urgent concerns including behavioral health.
• Document interview results in the service member’s medical record using a proprietary system.
