Job summary

Acadia Healthcare's Lakeland CTC seeks a Nurse Practitioner to deliver advanced nursing care in an outpatient MAT OTP setting in Lakeland, FL. You will evaluate patients, create treatment plans, and prescribe medications under state guidelines, with supervision from the Medical Director and Nurse Supervisor.

The role emphasizes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes in behavioral health and opioid use disorder treatment, with a Part-Time schedule Monday–Friday 6:30

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a practicing NP preferred.
• Previous experience in addiction recovery or behavioral health settings preferred.
• Familiarity with MAT, including methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone.
• Familiarity with state regulatory standards (42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, Joint Commission).
• No history of alcohol or drug misuse for three years before employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides initial and annual history and physical evaluation.
• Orders labs and follows up with education and referrals.
• Monitors treatment plans of high risk patients.
• Prescribes MAT medications per state regulation.
• Collaborates with Medical Director and Nurse Supervisor to plan care.
