Job summary

Meridian Healthcare in North Central Florida seeks a Psychiatric Certified APRN to provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and MAT services for OUD and AUD. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered, evidence-based care that supports recovery and long-term wellness.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current Florida licensure as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
• Experience with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) including Buprenorphine, Methadone, or Vivitrol preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric, medical, and substance use disorder evaluations to assess treatment needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans supporting recovery and wellness.
• Prescribe, administer, and manage psychiatric and MAT medications using evidence-based practices.
• Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care to promote adherence and positive outcomes.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, treatment options, recovery strategies, and relapse prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and case managers to ensure coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate, timely EMR documentation and participate in protocol development.
