We’ve built a suite of products that combine medication with our proprietary intensive lifestyle intervention to deliver results that last.Calibrate launched in 2020 direct-to-consumer and has since expanded into enterprise channels to increase access to effective obesity treatment.

Calibrate’s programs bring decades of clinical research directly to consumers, immersing members in a biweekly 1:1 coaching program and curriculum that educates and encourages them to build enduring healthy habits across the four areas essential to lasting metabolic health: food, sleep, exercise, and emotional health. A purpose-built app enables daily tracking of food, energy levels, weight, and bi-weekly goals and helps members interact with their Coaching and Medical teams, while a members’ group and events calendar create additional opportunities to engage with the Calibrate community.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an NP Manager at Calibrate, you will be responsible for the supervision and management of a team of remote nurse practitioners. This position entails guaranteeing superior patient care, overseeing NP performance, and enacting operational improvements. As an NP Manager, you will also collaborate closely with the rest of the clinical team, as well as other cross functional groups, to work towards team and company objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Effectively manage team performance through CSAT scores and member feedback, quality metrics, asynchronous productivity management, and regular 1:1 meetings.
  • Oversee NP scheduling and leave of absence/PTO requests in collaboration with Clinical Operations.
  • Participate in the interviewing and hiring process for new team members.
  • Engage in collaborative efforts and provide recommendations for workflow modifications to optimize productivity and quality outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the physician pod leads on oversight of clinical quality for the NP team and engage in quality improvement projects.
  • Collaborate with the Manager of Clinical Operations on oversight and tracking of collaborative agreements.
  • Conduct member intake sessions and maintain a balance between front-end and back-end duties as needed.
  • Provide assistance in clinical escalations as needed.

BACKGROUND AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of direct management experience required, including experience managing a remote team and/or telehealth.
  • Masters of Nursing (FNP or AGNP) required.
  • Valid NP License required (highly preferred to be licensed in at least 5 states).
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance, and quality improvement principles.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

The salary range for this role is $145,000-$160,000.
