Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral Degree as an APRN or PA.
• Louisiana APRN/PA license with prescriptive authority.
• BLS and ACLS certifications current.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient LVAD care coordination and management.
• Educate patients and caregivers on living with LVAD therapy.
• Collaborate with heart failure, transplant teams, surgeons, nurses and engineers.
• Lead discharge planning, follow-up and program growth initiatives.
