Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking independent contractor Nurse Practitioners to provide medical services to US military members, primarily on weekends in Missouri with occasional weekdays. You will perform health assessments, review records, interview service members, and identify urgent concerns; background checks and E-Verify apply.

Applicants must hold an active NP license in Missouri, CPR/BLS, and have experience in primary care, urgent care or occupational health.

Qualifications

• Active NP license in Missouri and CPR/BLS certification required.
• Experience in Primary Care, Urgent Care or Occupational Health preferred.
• Willingness to travel to remote military installations and deploy
• Able to work weekends with occasional weekdays as needed
• Strong communication and record-keeping skills

Responsibilities

• Support physical health assessments for military personnel.
• Review health history, records, and medical questionnaires.
• Interview personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
• Identify urgent concerns including behavioral health needs.
• Document results for readiness classification in the medical record.
