Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions across each shift.
• Stage resuscitation bay each shift to ensure readiness during codes.
• Audit Pediatric Care compliance; brief charge NP on gaps.
• Draw labs, run point-of-care tests, flag abnormal panels to supervising clinician.
• Prep and verify Epic specimens for lab labeling at bedside.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
• Set up and break down sterile trays between cases on tight turnover clock.
• Maintain sterile fields during bedside procedures and anticipate provider needs.
