Job summary

Turnwell of Alpharetta is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join a multidisciplinary team delivering integrated psychiatry, therapy, medication management, and advanced treatments in a patient-centered model.

You will conduct psychiatric assessments, prescribe and monitor medications, and collaborate with other providers to develop personalized care plans while maintaining thorough documentation and patient education.

Qualifications

• Active Georgia NP license in good standing.
• Board certification as PMHNP preferred.
• Experience treating adult women with mental health and/or co-occurring disorders.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
• Experience in PHP, IOP, outpatient behavioral health, or addiction treatment settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and medication evaluations.
• Prescribe, monitor, and adjust medications as clinically indicated.
• Collaborate with therapists, psychiatrists, and multidisciplinary treatment team members.
• Participate in treatment planning and case consultations.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
• Provide patient education regarding medications, diagnoses, and treatment recommendations.
