Beacon Behavioral Partners in Tifton, Georgia is seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join its outpatient team. This full-time role involves comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaborative care with therapists and support staff.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited PMHNP program.
• Active Georgia PMHNP license (or ability to obtain).
• Active DEA registration (or ability to obtain).
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
• Develop individualized treatment plans.
• Provide medication management and ongoing psychiatric care.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health conditions.
• Collaborate with therapists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and medication management.
• Participate in quality improvement and clinical initiatives as appropriate.

Preferred

• Experience in outpatient psychiatry
• Experience treating adult and/or adolescent populations
• Interest or experience in interventional psychiatry, including TMS and Spravato
• New graduates with strong psychiatric clinical rotations may be considered
