Job summary

TeamHealth invites applications for a full-time nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our hospital medicine team at Doctors Hospital of Augusta in Augusta, Georgia. The role is a night shift schedule from 6pm to 6am, with a 7-on, 7-off block and a focus on admissions, cross-coverage, and burn patient consults.

Doctors Hospital of Augusta is a 350-bed Level II trauma center with accredited stroke and chest pain programs. EMR is Meditech, and a strong HM team supports 24/7 patient care.

Qualifications

• Licensed NP in Georgia or PA with current credentialing.
• Experience in hospital medicine or acute care settings preferred.
• Night shift coverage and cross-coverage abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Manage admissions, cross-coverage, and medical consults for burn patients on nocturnal shifts.
• Respond to MRTs and codes as part of HM team.
