Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking an experienced nurse practitioner or physician assistant to join our critical care team at HCA Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross, Georgia. This full-time ICU role offers a 7-on/7-off block schedule with daytime hours from 7am to 7pm and an open ICU model with tele-ICU support.

Qualified candidates will have ICU APC experience and the ability to independently manage critically ill patients. Acute care certification is preferred for NPs.

Qualifications

• ICU experience required.
• Ability to practice independently and manage ICU patients autonomously.
• Acute care certification preferred for nurse practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Rounding, admissions, histories and physicals, order entry and discharges.
• Open ICU model with tele-ICU support.
• No on-site intensivist coverage; APCs practice with autonomy.
