The role includes hiring, performance management, and directing daily operations on a full-time, day-shift basis. Strong organizational and leadership skills are essential to support patient services and team efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Associates degree with two years of related experience OR a High School Degree with four years of related experience.
  • Experience coordinating administrative functions in a healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Supervisory or lead experience in a clinical support area is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate administrative functions for the Phlebotomy Department.
  • Supervise personnel, including workflow direction, hiring, and performance management.
  • Interpret applicable policies and ensure compliance in daily operations.
  • Support department leadership with scheduling and operational oversight.

Summary of Position

Responsible for coordinating the administrative functions for the Phlebotomy Department. Supervise personnel to include workflow direction, hiring, performance management and applicable policy interpretation.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Associates degree with two (2) years of related experience OR a High School Degree or equivalent and four (4) years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Phlebotomy Certification (NHA, ASCP or equivalent) + associate's degree
