Job summary

Elev8 Recovery Center, located in Harlem, NY, is seeking a passionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team. The NP will conduct comprehensive evaluations and treating the adult substance-abusing population to determine the appropriate level of care for detoxification and rehabilitation, addressing immediate health issues on-site.

Shift options include 4 x 10 hour days or 5 x 8 hour days. Must hold NY NP license, DEA license, and meet NY DAP requirements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• Current New York NP license (registered) with NP certification in good standing.
• DEA license and prescription-writing privileges.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations with relevant history and health assessment.
• Identify patient needs and formulate differential diagnoses.
• Conduct waived testing (urine, blood work, glucose).
• Develop and implement care plans with physicians.
• Provide follow-up and adjust treatments as needed to achieve health goals.
• Educate patients and provide health promotion information.
• Maintain confidential medical records and collaborate with colleagues.
