Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center is hiring a PRN Nurse Practitioner to deliver medical care across detox, residential, and outpatient services. You will develop individualized care plans and monitor treatment, ensuring patients stabilize to engage fully in therapy.

Requirements include an advanced medical degree, an active state license, and DEA certification. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to coordinate care with clinicians and UR teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in medical field; related certifications.
• Valid state medical license.
• Federal DEA certification.

Responsibilities

• Create medical care plans and monitor/adjust medications for clients.
• Stabilize patients to enable engagement in treatment.
• Update orders and review UDS and lab results.
• Collaborate with medical, clinical and UR teams for coordinated care.
• Document all medical interventions and directives thoroughly.
• Maintain daily/weekly client appointment schedules efficiently.
