Valle del Sol is seeking a compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality primary care to individuals and families across the lifespan. The position requires an accredited NP program, Arizona APRN license with full prescribing authority, and board certification as an FNP.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current, unrestricted Arizona APRN license as a Certified Nurse Practitioner.
• Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC).
• Ability to collaborate with clinicians and provide culturally sensitive care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services across the lifespan, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
• Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans within scope and full prescribing authority.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, behavioral health providers, and other clinicians to support quality patient outcomes.
• Deliver a friendly, professional public-facing presence and strong patient experience.
• Support clinic workflows and contribute ideas to improve care delivery and efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with organizational policies and state/federal requirements.

We are seeking a compassionate, motivated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to provide high-quality, patient-centered primary care to individuals and families across the lifespan. This role is ideal for a clinician who is adaptable, collaborative, and committed to delivering culturally sensitive services in a friendly, professional setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services across the lifespan, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
• Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans within scope and full prescribing authority
• Document care accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, behavioral health providers, and other clinical team members to support quality patient outcomes
• Deliver exceptional patient experience by consistently maintaining a friendly, professional, and public-facing presence
• Support clinic workflows and contribute ideas to improve care delivery, efficiency, and patient satisfaction
• Maintain compliance with organizational policies and applicable state/federal requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience practicing as a Family Nurse Practitioner (relevant prior medical/clinical experience considered)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Current, unrestricted Arizona APRN license as a Certified Nurse Practitioner (CNP) with a Family/Individual Across the Lifespan focus and full prescribing authority
• Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC)
• Initiative, creativity, problem-solving ability, adaptability, and flexibility
• Ability to collaborate with professional colleagues to provide quality care
• Consistently present a friendly, welcoming, and professional public-facing presence
• Strong verbal, written, and communication skills
• Knowledge of Windows environment and/or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
• Ability to provide culturally sensitive services
• Must have or be able to obtain a valid Fingerprint Clearance Card
• Must possess reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance
• BLS certified or ability to be trained within 5 business days of hire date
• Experience working in community health, integrated care, or with diverse/underserved populations preferred
• Bilingual preferred

Pre-Employment / Onboarding Requirements

• TB screening record and PPD/QuantiFERON/Chest X-ray upon hire (as applicable)
• Vaccinations/titers/declination forms: Flu, Hep B, MMR, Tdap, Varicella
