Job summary

Valle del Sol is seeking a compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner to provide high-quality primary care to individuals and families across the lifespan. The role emphasizes cultural sensitivity, collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, and patient-centered care in a friendly, professional setting.

The position requires an accredited NP program, Arizona APRN license with full prescribing authority, and board certification as an FNP.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current, unrestricted Arizona APRN license as a Certified Nurse Practitioner.
• Board Certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (AANP or ANCC).
• Ability to collaborate with clinicians and provide culturally sensitive care.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services across the lifespan, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
• Prescribe medications and manage treatment plans within scope and full prescribing authority.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, behavioral health providers, and other clinicians to support quality patient outcomes.
• Deliver a friendly, professional public-facing presence and strong patient experience.
• Support clinic workflows and contribute ideas to improve care delivery and efficiency.
• Maintain compliance with organizational policies and state/federal requirements.
