Matrix Providers Inc. is seeking a Nurse Practitioner – Family Practice to join our team caring for Service Members and families at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a high-volume clinical setting, be board-certified in Family Medicine, and hold an active RN license. Responsibilities include patient evaluations, preventive care, and collaborative patient management with physicians and healthcare teams.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nursing.
• ACEN/CCNE-accredited nursing program.
• Board certification in Family Medicine NP (ANCC/AANP or equivalent) and BLS.
• 24 months of Family Medicine NP practice within last 36 months.
• Current, full, unrestricted RN license.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive NP services within the scope of practice and privileges.
• Perform patient evaluations, exams, and care for routine to chronic conditions.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage illnesses per guidelines and protocols.
• Provide preventive care, immunizations, and wellness education.
• Develop treatment plans and counsel patients on healthy behaviors.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for coordinated care.
• Provide clinical guidance and staff education.
• Participate in meetings, continuing education, and quality initiatives.

Matrix Providers is hiring a Nurse Practitioner – Family Practice to join our team of talented professionals who provide health care services to our Military Service Members and their families in at Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado.

Looking for an experienced Nurse Practitioner capable of managing a high-volume clinical setting while providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

• Employment Status: Full-Time
• Compensation: This is an hourly position, paid bi-weekly. $63-$67/hr
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., the schedule is maintained by clinic personnel based on demands of the clinic and appointments booked that day.

Nurse Practitioner – Family Practice must have and meet the following:

• Degree: Master’s degree in nursing.
• Education: Graduate from an academic program, within the nursing specialty field of study that is accredited by a regional or national nursing accrediting agency recognized by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
• Certification:
  • Certified in Family Medicine as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the recognized national nursing certification organization for the specialty area of practice as appropriate (for example, National Certification Board of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners and Nurses, American Nurses Association, National Certification Corporation for the Obstetric, Gynecologic and Neonatal Specialties).
  • Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Experience: Have actively practiced as a Family Medicine – Nurse Practitioner for 24 months within the last 36 months, and are able to demonstrate current clinical competency. Current clinical competency is verifiable by clinical activity logs submitted by the previous medical institutions
• Licensure: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license as a Registered Nurse.

Nurse Practitioner – Family Practice Core Duties:

• Provide comprehensive Nurse Practitioner services within the scope of practice and privileges granted by the MTF.
• Perform patient evaluations, screenings, physical examinations, and medical care for routine, acute, and chronic conditions.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage illnesses, injuries, and health concerns using clinical guidelines and approved protocols.
• Provide preventive care, health maintenance, immunizations, and patient wellness education.
• Develop treatment plans and counsel patients on healthy behaviors and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to coordinate effective patient care and communicate treatment plans.
• Provide clinical guidance, training, and evidence-based education to staff members.
• Participate in staff meetings, case discussions, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Apply infection control practices, recognize isolation requirements, and maintain universal precautions during patient care.
• Educate patients, families, and staff to support improved health outcomes and organizational goals.
